TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of HookTitles (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the hooktitles.com website and services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You may use HookTitles only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, harassing, or violates the rights of others
• Generate spam, misleading content, or intentionally false information
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract content from the Service
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent credit limits or subscription restrictions
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service outside of documented API access
• Resell, sublicense, or distribute outputs from the Service as a competing product
• Share your account credentials with others

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice or refund.

HookTitles operates on a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when you generate content:

• Title generation: 1 credit
• Description generation: 1 credit
• Thumbnail generation: 3 credits

Credits are deducted at the time of generation request, regardless of whether you use the output. Credits on paid subscription plans reset on the monthly billing anniversary. Unused monthly credits do not roll over to the next month. One-time top-up credits do not expire while your account is active.

Free plan credits (5 credits) are provided once at account creation and are not renewed monthly.

No refunds on consumed credits. Credits that have been used to generate content are non-refundable. This applies to both subscription credits and one-time top-up credits.

Subscription refunds. If you are unsatisfied with a paid subscription within 7 days of your first payment, contact us at hello@hooktitles.com and we will issue a full refund at our discretion. Refunds are not available for subscription renewals or after the 7-day window has passed.

Service outages. If the Service is unavailable for an extended period due to our technical failure, we may issue credit compensation at our discretion. We do not provide refunds for brief outages or scheduled maintenance.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance via Paddle. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time via your dashboard or by contacting us at hello@hooktitles.com.

Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged for subsequent periods. Downgrading to the free plan takes effect at the next renewal date. We do not provide prorated refunds for early cancellation.

Your content: You retain ownership of all outputs generated using HookTitles, including titles, descriptions, and thumbnails. You are free to use generated content commercially without attribution to HookTitles.

Our platform: HookTitles, its software, design, algorithms, and documentation are the intellectual property of HookTitles. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of the platform or its underlying technology to you.

AI-generated content: AI-generated outputs may not be fully protected by copyright in all jurisdictions. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and ensuring compliance with applicable laws before commercial use.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that generated content will achieve specific results, improve your channel metrics, or be free of errors. YouTube's algorithm and ranking factors are entirely outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HookTitles shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
